Soul Rebirth

Transformational Yoga and Plant Medicine
Immersion for Queer Men

•• Sacred Valley, Perú ••
June 16-23, 2024

Are you a gay, bi, or queer man already walking the path of healing and self-development?

Are you ready to dive deeper into yourself, and celebrate your journey as a queer man, surrounded by a compassionate community of like-minded men?

Are you finally ready to uncover your soul gifts, and step into your power?

Like the caterpillar, you may be ready for a psychospiritual metamorphosis, a Soul Rebirth

For us queer men, coming out is only the first step in our journey of living an authentic, soulful life. There is a coming home process—a somatic, emotional, and visceral awakening that initiates us into our true nature, our soul power. This is a process plant medicines can help us experience.

Ecoretreat center where we will gather for 8-days & 7-nights, in the stunning Sacred Valley

This is more than a retreat.

It is a journey into the Heart of the Animate Earth. A deep communion with Pachamama and Tayta Inti (Mother Earth and Father Sky), a loving embrace from Grandmother Ayahuasca and Grandfather Huachuma. A portal to the Andean Cosmovision, a way of living in right relation with ourselves, and all of the wild others: humans, animals, plants, rivers, stones, mosses, and soils.

This is a RESET to SOUL.

Re-membering why we came here as queer men.
Reconnecting to the belonging that is our birthright.
Re-opening our hearts to the love that exists between all things.

Are you ready for the journey of a lifetime?

The human soul is the very core of our human nature... Your soul will reveal what to do at each step. You might never feel completely prepared, but you must consent to the journey when ready enough. This journey, this path, is into the wilderness of your greater life. That wilderness is your soul.

To merge with your DESTINY, you must locate, liberate, and LIVE what is truly wild.

The soul is here to live its JOY. The ego is here to keep things familiar, safe, and predictable.

Which path do you choose?

There is strength in vulnerability

While talking and processing is important, it is only part of the equation. There is an essential, visceral, experience which must be confronted. Something that is beyond words and ordinary cognition. This is an experience ayahuasca can facilitate.

Ayahausca is a calling. Ayahuasca is not a magic pill. She is not going to solve all your problems for you. We come to the medicine with the conviction that everyone is already whole and complete—the medicines help us to peel away the layers of armor, to rise above the illusory fears of the mind and help us access and open the heart.

Ayahuasca is not for everyone. It is a calling. She will call you if this is something you are meant to experience in this lifetime. She is a medicine. Not a drug. She has been used for thousands of years in the Amazon for healing.

This immersion is for those who seek spiritual self-realization with humility and respect for Ayahuasca, Huachuma, Mother Earth and all beings.

Who is this for?

This immersion is open to gay, bi, and queer-identifying men who have already started their healing path, which looks different for each of us. In general:

  • You have self-awareness of patterns in your life that no longer serve you, and you are ready to take action to change them for the better

  • You are free from physiological addiction or chemical dependency — no judgment, but these kinds of dependencies require specialized help, which we are not qualified to offer

  • You have a regular or at least semi-regular mindfulness practice, which might look like meditation, yoga, journaling, breathwork, or intentional time in nature, to name a few

  • You are prepared to detox from all forms of distraction for eight full days, including Television, Video games, Social media, Dating apps, and other screen-based entertainment

  • You are prepared to detox from processed foods, red meat, refined sugar, sweets, and salty foods, for eight full days

La Chakana, sometimes called the
‘Andean Cross’

This journey unfolds in three phases…

  • Beginning one month before we travel to Peru, we will meet once per week as a group for a 1-1.5 hour video call, to foster group cohesion and cover the following:

Physiological Preparation: how to handle the physical effects of the medicine, and prepare your body for ceremony

Psychospiritual Preparation: primer on psychoemotional trauma, council and journalwork to clarify and crystallize your intentions and questions for the medicine

Breathwork Ceremony to clear out somatic trauma and get acquainted with non-ordinary states of consciousness

*Video call dates: May 22, May 29, June 5, June 12

  • Eight days, seven nights in the Sacred Valley, with daily yoga, meditation, journaling, 1:1 support and group processing, following the path of the Andean Cosmovision, the Earth-based spirituality of this ancient cradle of civilization:

Uku Pacha — Underworld, realm of the Serpent: first Aya Ceremony

Kay Pacha — Middleworld, spirit of the Puma: the here and now, second Aya Ceremony

Hanaq Pacha — the Upperworld, realm of the Condor, beyond space and time, Huachuma Ceremony in the Apus

    *Dates: June 16-23
**Optional add-on to Machu Picchu: June 23-25

  • For the two weeks following our return from this journey, we will hold a weekly video call for council and group sharing, to support your integration of the teachings and messages from Soul, back into the modern Western world

    *Video call dates: TBD

And through three realms…

In our journey together, we ascend through the three 'worlds' of perception and learning, guided by the wisdom of the Andean Chakana. This sacred symbol represents the journey of spiritual enlightenment through the mystical realms of the lower, middle, and upper worlds.

In the Lower World, we fearlessly delve into the realm of unconsciousness, reclaiming our authentic wisdom, power, and soul gifts. Known as Uku (or Ukhu) Pacha, this world is overseen by the Serpent, who teaches us to harmonize our relationship with our inner shadow, and face the fears that keep us playing small. Despite its denser energy, the lower world imparts beautiful teachings, inhabited by the spirits of the departed.

Moving to the Middle World, we continue our journey of release, excavating elements that empower us to live fully in this life. Kay Pacha, the middle world, is overseen by the Puma, guiding us to live authentically, and to courageously open our hearts to the beauty and pain inherent to this world, in the conscious, waking reality of our everyday lives. This world is the Earth, with both light and heavy energy.

The Upper World, known as Hanan (or Hanaq) Pacha, represents the highest vibration we can reach. The spirit of the Condor helps us access the superconscious realm, transcending limitations to discover our true nature as luminous beings. This heavenly realm, inhabited by divine creatures and celestial beings, radiates a light, sophisticated energy. Here, we practice the principle of unconditional love, Munay, for ourselves and all things.
