Soulcentric Breathwork

A journey into the healing intelligence of the body —
to uncover the original instructions of who you came here to be

If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.
— The Gnostic Gospels

What lies in wait, at the core of you?

Those who will not slip beneath
the still surface on the well of grief

turning downward through its black water
to the place we cannot breathe

will never know the source from which we drink,
the secret water, cold and clear,

nor find in the darkness glimmering
the small round coins
thrown by those who wished for something else

—David Whyte

Soul is the deepest truth of who you came here to be in this lifetime, your “original instructions.” Poet David Whyte describes it as the “truth at the center of the image you were born with.” It can take a lifetime to uncover this truth, beneath the layers of wounding and conditioning.

Unlike most breathwork that focuses on “transcendence” (ascension-oriented), Soulcentric Breathwork is a journey of inscenedence—inward and downward—into the deepest levels of your being, to glimpse this truth, like a buried treasure at the core of you.

The soul speaks in metaphors, symbols, and senations—it’s language is both somatic and “mythopoetic,” and so to journey there, we guide this breathwork using the power of archetypes, myths, and poetry.

Two men lying on the grass outdoors, one shirtless and wearing a bandana, appears to be in distress while the other leans over him, possibly aiding or comforting him. In the background, two other people are lying on the grass.
